Those lessons have guided every chapter of my professional and personal journey.
I've enjoyed the privilege of helping people and organizations succeed throughout my entire professional career. From leading teams in consumer finance and mortgage lending to executive recruiting, I've had the opportunity to hire, mentor, train, and develop hundreds of professionals while helping organizations build stronger, more successful teams.
As an executive recruiter, I partnered with engineering firms, construction companies, manufacturers, and other organizations to identify exceptional talent while helping candidates confidently navigate one of life's biggest decisions. I also worked closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to strengthen recruiting strategies, improve hiring processes, and attract the people they truly wanted to hire.
In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn with a diagnosis of prostate cancer. Two years later, it returned as Stage 4. Like so many of life's challenges, it wasn't the diagnosis that would define me—it was how I chose to respond.
Writing became part of that journey.
What began as personal reflection evolved into stories about faith, family, perseverance, resilience, humor, and the lessons that often reveal themselves during life's most difficult moments. Those stories became my memoir, It's A Glorious Day, followed by Glorious Days on the Dirt Road, and continue through my newsletter, The Dirt Road, speaking engagements, and practical resources designed to encourage others.
Whether I'm writing, speaking, mentoring, or simply sharing a conversation over coffee, my mission remains the same:
